Portesbery School is an all age day school (3-19 years) catering for children and young people with Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). Pupils may have additional sensory impairments, physical difficulties or challenging behaviour.

A FRESH NEW LOOK FOR OUTDOOR LEARNING AT EVERGROVE NURSERY

A team of volunteers from our contractors on Malta Road helped refurbish the schools outdoor area and provided paint and supplies.

We also provided a new mud kitchen, as well as a new storage shed for toys and sports equipment. Outdoor play is vital for building confidence, creativity, and self-esteem, and we hope the children enjoy their upgraded space for years to come.

Evergrove Nursery is a committee-led setting that provides care for children aged between 2-5 years, situated in Mindenhurst.

FATHER CHRISTMAS RETURNS TO PORTESBURY SCHOOL

During the festive period, Christmas events are typically overwhelming and unsuited to the needs of young people with special educational requirements.

For the second year running, the students of Portesbury School were able to attend a SEND friendly Santa’s grotto in a safe and accessible environment within the school, receiving a visit from Father Christmas, his cheerful elves and adorable animal friends.

LOCAL SCHOOLS HAVE A ‘HOPPY’ EASTER WITH ANNINGTON

An egg-citing Easter scavenger hunt was held at The Weald to celebrate the launch of the second phase of transformed homes.

Working with Bridges Estate Agents, children from Portesbery School and Evergrove Nursery were invited to join in with the Easter-themed fun, by searching for clues hidden around the green space on the development.

Our site at Bordon St Lucia was Annington’s largest single site at over 200 properties and went through a full internal and external refurbishment programme. Sales launched on the site in November 2019 and the site was entirely sold or let by August 2021. Average revenue was £265.1k per unit.
